Window Tint in Plano, TX
Professional automotive window film: dyed, carbon and ceramic options that cut heat, glare and UV. Plano has a lot of newer luxury sedans and EVs, and many owners want ceramic film that rejects heat without making the car look blacked out. Front side windows still have to meet the 25% Texas limit.

What is the legal tint limit in Texas?
Front side windows must let in at least 25% of light (25% VLT) and reflect no more than 25%. Which parts of Plano do matched shops cover?
We match requests across Plano, including Legacy West, Downtown Plano and West Plano, with shops that serve your ZIP code. Tell us where the car is and we will relay it to shops nearby.
Can I tint my windshield?
Only within your state's limits. Clear or very light UV and heat-rejecting films exist that are legal on windshields in more places; ask the shop what is allowed.
Will tint bubble or turn purple?
Cheap dyed film can fade and bubble over time. Quality carbon and ceramic films from major brands come with lifetime warranties against bubbling, peeling and color change.
Can old tint be removed?
Yes. Removal usually costs extra, and it is worth doing right because adhesive left on the rear defroster lines can damage them.
