Window Tint in Irving, TX
Professional automotive window film: dyed, carbon and ceramic options that cut heat, glare and UV. Irving commuters on SH 114 and SH 183 drive into low sun both ways, and a lot of Las Colinas cars are company leases. Ceramic film is popular because it is lease-friendly and helps with glare.

FAQ
How much does window tint cost in Irving?
As a rough estimate from published 2025 pricing guides, expect about $200–$350 for full car, basic dyed film (sides + rear, no windshield), and $600–$1,100+ for full car, premium nano-ceramic / IR film. These are estimates, not quotes; Irving shops price by vehicle and package, so request a match for real quotes.
What is the legal tint limit in Texas?
Front side windows must let in at least 25% of light (25% VLT) and reflect no more than 25%. Rear side windows have no darkness limit, and the rear window has none if the car has outside mirrors on both sides. Windshield tint is limited to the top strip above the AS-1 line or 5 inches. Which parts of Irving do matched shops cover?
We match requests across Irving, including Las Colinas, Valley Ranch and the neighborhoods next to DFW Airport, with shops that serve your ZIP code. Tell us where the car is and we will relay it to shops nearby.
Is ceramic tint worth the extra cost?
Ceramic films reject more infrared heat at the same darkness, do not interfere with phone or GPS signals, and tend to hold their color longer than dyed film. Most owners who keep a car for several years find the difference worth it.
How long does window tinting take?
Most cars take two to four hours. The film needs a few days to cure, and slight haziness or water pockets during that time are normal.
Can I tint my windshield?
Only within your state's limits. Clear or very light UV and heat-rejecting films exist that are legal on windshields in more places; ask the shop what is allowed.
